Highland Estates Limited recently invested in a modern, fully automated water filtering and bottling plant. The water comes from a spring of pure, clean mineral water that is fit to drink directly from the source and was verified so by the Tanzania Bureau of Standards. An extra filtration process is taken to insure we bottle the purest water.

The water is bottled under the name Ihefu pure drinking water, a name that was strategically chosen to honor the Ihefu wetland in the Usangu region, and also bind the local customers to the product.
